Personalized Christmas Ornament
The perfect Christmas ornament has a magical way of capturing special moments in my life. It is amazing how each year I am transported back to the time when I first put that ornament on our tree. Those memories are more valuable than anything tangible that I own; I would not trade them for anything.
These memories are so important to my family that we have created somewhat of a Christmas Ornament tradition in our household. Typically we begin by hanging a few of our favorite ornaments from years past. We take our time and talk about what we remember about the season when we purchased, or were given, that ornament. After a while we start adding lights and other miscellaneous items to our tree.
Ultimately we arrive at the time when each member of the family brings out a new ornament for the tree. Usually this ornament is based upon something special that has occurred during the year to someone in our family.
If, for example, the Clemson Tigers won the National Championship one year, I would definitely buy this ornament for our tree. Another idea would be to find an ornament that represents a vacation destination, like Paris or Rome.
The key thing is that whatever ornament we select it has to be important to that person in some way, regardless of how big or small the reason. It is a way to keep our memories from fading away, when in reality they are some of the most important things we will ever

It has become so important to save money in as many areas as possible…so, a fake Christmas tree makes so much sense for now and the years to come. The initial cost may be slightly higher but the fact that it can and will be re-used for years to come seriously outweighs any disadvantages. Also, the current crop of fakes are so realistic…it is really difficult to tell them apart.

While you don’t necessarily have to wallow in nostalgia brought on by a personalized ornament, it would seem that Christmas and the new year holidays are the best time to reflect on what has passed and plan for what will be happening in the future.
